- Graduated from China Pharmaceutical University in 1991.
- Doing researches in the field of active ingredient and pharmacology of traditional Chinese medicine in Toyama Medical and Pharmaceutical University and Osaka Kinki University in Japan from 1991- 1997.
- Joined P&G Japan R&D center as a Senior Scientist from 1997-2016.
- Invited to become a professor of China Pharmaceutical University as a member of Talent Introduction Program in 2019.
- Invited to become a special expert of China Cometic Expert Committee in 2022.
Main Research Area
research and application of Traditional Chinese medicine active ingredients, basic research on skin care and makeup products, cosmetic product and raw material design and development, cosmetic product industrialization and new market development.
Major Achievements
Published 20+ papers on studies of active ingredient and pharmacology of traditional Chinese medicine, and participated in the authoring of Traditional Chinese Medicine Dictionary, Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory and etc.
Designed and developed formulas of 200+ cosmetic products including skin care product, makeup product, functional cosmetic product and normal cosmetic product, which covers the brands of SK-II, Gucci, D&G, Max Factor, Olay, Burberry, Rimmel, Bourjois, Adidas, Cover Girl and etc. Led the program of Olay’s make products entering into China market in 2004 and Korea market in 2010, and the program of Gucci’s cosmetic product entering global market in 2014.
